The first inquiry that came from search
Months of structural work on this site, and one measurable outcome so far: on 9 August a stranger found it through search, read enough of it to write, and sent an inquiry. Here is what was built and what that is honestly worth.
- The structural work on this site finished in late July and early August 2026. On 9 August the first inbound inquiry arrived through the contact form, from someone with no prior contact.
- Every page carries structured data and the build fails if one ships without it, so the claim is enforced by the pipeline rather than checked by hand.
- One inquiry is one inquiry. There has not been a second, and this page says so rather than letting the number imply a trend.
What actually happened
No ads. No outreach. The link was not posted anywhere. On 9 August 2026 a message arrived through the contact form on this site, from a stranger who had found it through search and read enough of it to write.
That is the whole result. It is also the one every client asks for, and the one that cannot be faked.
The structural work behind it finished in late July and early August. Since then it has been upkeep, which is the honest description of what this discipline is. Not a launch. A habit.
Every page carries structured data, and the build refuses to ship one that does not
Zero pages without schema. That is the number that matters here, and it is enforced rather than audited: the build measures itself against what actually shipped and fails if the count stops describing the real output.
The live count of pages, schema entries and schema types is published at /ledger on this site, regenerated on every build. It is deliberately not repeated as a fixed figure here, because a frozen number on a page whose argument is that structure is verifiable would be the exact wrong thing to do.
Anyone can claim complete structured data coverage. The difference is whether a failing build stops the claim from shipping.
The pages answer questions rather than describe services
How long AEO takes. What AI agents look for on a website. What an AI-first website costs. Each one is a real question a buyer asks, answered on a page that owns that question, in a form a machine can quote without rewriting it.
Nothing here was written for a machine. The copy is the copy a person reads. The structure sits underneath it.
Designed for humans, structured for AI describes the order the work happened in, not a slogan.
What it does not prove
One inquiry is one inquiry. There has not been another through search since, and saying so is better than letting you assume a trend.
It also cannot be cleanly separated from everything else that happened in those weeks. What can be said is narrow and true: the structural work finished, and within a fortnight the first inquiry of its kind arrived, on a site that had never produced one before.
A case study that overstates a single data point is worth less than one that states it exactly.
The same discipline on a client build
On a client store, a section default was quietly emitting sixteen competing FAQ entities across the whole site. Nobody wrote sixteen. One setting shipped switched on, and every page inherited it, so search engines and answer engines were being told sixteen different versions of the same thing.
The default was the trap, not the setting.
The fix was small. The default went off, one page was made the explicit owner, and the result was checked on the live page rather than in the code: one block, nine questions.
The method, in one line
Say one thing about yourself, say it in the place that owns it, and verify it where a machine will actually read it.
If your site looks finished and search still sends nobody, the structure is the first place to look. Send the address and you will get back what an engine sees.
