What it does
It is a crosswalk of three descriptions of the same product record: ACP, UCP and schema.org Product. It maps field to field, 43 concepts in all: 21 are carried by both protocols, 8 by UCP alone, 4 by ACP alone and 10 by neither. It does not show that schema.org markup feeds ACP or UCP, because neither specification says it does.
The verdict command prints a dated opinion on which agent-commerce protocol a small shop can ignore. It was read on 2026-09-30 and is due for review by 2026-12-31. It is an opinion, not a fact about the protocols. The check command reads schema.org JSON-LD from a file, a URL or stdin and shows what ACP and UCP would need, and convert writes ACP feed or UCP catalog products validated against pinned schemas. It needs Node 18 or newer and has no dependencies.
It covers catalog data, not checkout, payment, orders or fulfilment, and it reads JSON-LD one page at a time. The verdict is checked by hand, and the field table is the part checked by machine. It is not financial advice. ACP is marked beta, so expect rows to change.
Why it exists
In January 2026 PayPal published an explainer on the AI shopping protocol moment, and in April 2026 Cloudflare's agent readiness checker began reporting x402, UCP and ACP while leaving them out of its score. A shop owner reading that still has two questions: which of these do I have to care about, and what does my product data need to look like?
When this was started on 2026-09-30, searches turned up protocol-level comparisons and a UCP readiness scanner, but no field-level table of ACP, UCP and schema.org Product side by side. Every row carries the version it was checked against, and the test suite fails if a path stops resolving.
